Why is does my rear camera's microphone make a weird noise?

I use a Samsung Galaxy S3. I tried to open the camera app to record a video with the rear camera of the phone. It's weird because it only works with the rear. When I was done recording, I opened the recording so I could see it. It wasn't the video player that was making all the noise by a certain audio encoder from the video player, I know for sure, but it only did work on the front camera. It sounded like a stereograph, or what are those things where you can convert a image into audio?

have you tried recording audio with audio only recorder? or is this only happening with videos?
