I have been looking for a tablet for awhile now and have become so frustrated. Am I just too picky or are Mfg's just completely clueless?

All I am looking for:

10"
fast dual core or quad core processor
64GB preferably but 32GB will do.
MicroSD slot
Micro HDMI jack
Above average screen
Android ICS
LTE

There are some tablets out there now that have much of what I want except they don't have ICS. I hate Apple and its completely ridiculous that they have had an LTE 64GB Tablet on the market for over two months now and every other manufacturer is completely absent from the market!!!

Because Apple focuses more on new tech/features than anyone else. That's why every single one of their products is overpriced.

The high end Android tablets aren't making enough money for most of the OEM's there are only a handful that are making a profit off of the high end Android tablets.

Samsung Obviously but their latest Galaxy Tab 2 series are all dual core, LTE may come in the future for them
ASUS Transformer and Acer Iconia both have great 1080p displays and quad core SoC but the problem is Tegra 3 doesn't yet support LTE so those tablets will never see LTE.

I personally don't see a reason to want a tablet with LTE. Get a smartphone and tether it. Or if you can get one of the carrier's hotspot generators and pay the extra data fee and carry that around.

Personally i don't care about LTE so when I get a tablet I'm gonna tether my Evo 3D to it and I'll be happy.

So the main reason I don't want to tether is that it drains the battery life on my phone. I don't have an issue with another account as my company will pay for it.

I am just frustrated because there is a segment of people that will pay for a high end tablet but don't want an apple product.

Thanks folks for all the input.

Ok so after looking at various responses in the forums I have decided to amend my needs and see if the AndroidCentral community has some great advice...

Prefer a 10"
Min of 32GB but would really like 64GB if I can get
MicroSD
MicroUSB
HDMI (micro is fine)

LTE is no longer a requirement, I'll get a mifi for those instances where I can't get wifi and need a connection.

I watch a lot of movies, play games, heavy browsing, lots of email. Needs to have best screen I can get, need great battery life.

Last but not least, price is not of any specific importance. I don't want to just throw money away (I am not buying a iPad...) but I am not afraid of spending more to get what will be the best based on my needs...

Thanks in advance for the advice!!!

Specifically regarding the ipad, it's price is on par with any other similarly specd android device. Want to talk about expensive. I think those new surface tablets are going to be pricey.

I am looking at the ASUS Transformer Prime for exactly the same reasons you are looking for a high end tab.

32GB internal but I believe there is a 64, 10.1 inch screen, micdo HDMI and microSD it hits all your check marks.
