Why is my Asus ZenFone 2 sending 2 sometimes 3 text messages?

Asus ZenFone 2 is sending 2 sometimes 3 text messages

like the title says, my phone is sending duplicate text messages. i only send it once, and i only see the one text message sent. but some people are telling me they're getting getting up to 3 duplicates. sometimes the when i send a text message it looks like it gets stuck on "sending". but before it turns to "sent", the person replies.
Its an Asus Zenfone 2, 64bg. and i'm on Bell Mobility.

Have you asked your carrier to check on that?
If it's not the carrier and you just got the phone, I suggest you exchange it quickly.

I'd check with Bell indeed. We've had the same issues at times with my brother's line that was originally on Bell.
