Why is my battery draining so fast?

I have a Moto Z2, updated to Android 8.0, with T-Mobile Service. Battery life started to diminish a few months ago, and in the week won't hold a charge for more than an hour. I did a total factory reset twice and have no additional apps re-installed.

What do your battery usage stats indicate as using the charge? If nothing abnormal, you may simply need a new battery.

How long have you had this device? If you've had it since last year, it's possible that the battery may be worn out.
