Android Central Question

Hi you'll I have a Samsung galaxy S21 5G exynos version. In UHD 60fps when recording when I zoom in it gets a little blur. I want to know if its a problem with mine or its just normal.

Anyone who has an S21 please check and let me know. Make sure ifs on UHD 60fps

I have the exynos S21 ultra and tried out zooming on UHD in my well lit kitchen. It does seem a little blurry when zooming in on closer objects and more pronounced on further items. I switched to FD30 and its definitely clearer (could just about read text on a bottle I definitely couldn't read on UHD and zooming in). I'm sure someone who knows how the camera works will be along soon to explain but it doesn't bother me as I very rarely video and when I do I don't use UHD.

I don't know the specifics of how Samsung handles video zoom but I would assume Samsung is just digitally cropping on the main image sensor in which case resolution is actually dropping which would result in blur/reduced quality.
