Why is my Facebook saying it can't connect?

[Android Central Question]

My Facebook news feed won't load. It just says can't connect with the gray cloud image. If I select most recent like I usually do it only shows me stuff from the previous day that I already saw before it stopped working. I already restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled Facebook, cleared the cache data for Facebook and wiped the cache partition on my phone and it's still that way. All my other apps work fine! It's also doing it on a tablet I have. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Do you have trouble loading either the Facebook desktop version or mobile site on a browser? Is the problem on WiFi or over mobile data? FB traffic might be blocked if you're on WiFi or over a VPN
