Android Central Question

My Samsung Galaxy tab 3 have like 5 years.I didn't use it for like 2 years because of battery issues but I decided to go to a specialist and repair it.Now it charges just fine but it is very laggy and my fps in games is low.I tried many tutorials and stuff but no dramatic changes.

I would recommend a factory reset, this will clear out a lot of the accumulated rubbish that the tablet has accumulated over the years, just be aware that some of your older apps may no longer be available and you will also loose any game scores.

Welcome to Android Central! The Tab 3 is an obsolete device. Since devices have become significantly more powerful since that tablet came out, today's apps correspondingly expect a certain degree of hardware specs to run well. I notice this on my 2013 Nexus 7 as well. Kodak2's suggestion for a factory reset is a good idea, but don't be surprised if it doesn't improve much.

It's the age of the thing, mobile tech has evolved rapidly and even the cheapest entry level units are significantly faster than those from 5 years ago. New software, especially most games, require stronger processors and graphics to maintain a good frame rate.

I have the original Note 10, some apps run decent on it yet, most games and even browsing the web will bring it to a crawl.
