Why is my LG G2 touch screen not responsive?

why is my lg g2 touch screen not responsive

on startup wizard my lg gt is non responsive. I can see the display, although there is some damage to the lcd or something as there is a black bar running the length of the right side of the screen.

Welcome to Android Central! It sounds like the screen and digitizer are damaged. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop for replacement.
