Android Central Question

My LG G7 DAC was working normally till today, when it started clipping at high volumes... Bass is severely distorted (or better said, clipped) on high volumes and on Hi-Fi DAC mode on, plus rotating the headphone jack causes loud static noise which is the worst when I plug off the headphones out... On normal mode everything is normal, no distortion or static noises, headphone jack also makes zero noise... Is it DAC or headphone jack?

Check for lint in the jack but it should be causing problems at all levels.
I had a similar problem with my V20 once and a factory reset fixed it.

I've checked, and cleaned all the lint but everything is the same.... It seems that the DAC is clipping for some reason, because I don't know how could headphone jack by itself cause actual overload on headphones (except if it recognizes all of my headphones as high impedance ones)...

Try the reset...it fixed my issue
