Why is my Note 4 freezing constantly?

Class 10 cards are getting cheaper and the new U1 are slowly replacing them. They are the same speed but cost a little more. If you can try to get a U3 rated card I believe that is the fastest speed available right now...

Just posted concerns around this on a previous thread but in summary;

• Brought two (2) 128GB SD cards [Both SanDisk Ultra MicroSD XC] - one for the Note 4 and one for my Note 8 (released 2013).
• SD Card (call it SD Card A) that went into the Note 4 caused the phone to freeze, would not recognize the cards, and file issues.
• SD Card (SD Card B) that went into the Note 8 worked a treat.
• Decided to swap the cards thinking I had a faulty card.
• Took SD Card B out of the Note 8, formatted, and inserted into the Galaxy Note 4.
• Took SD Card A out of the Note 4, formatted, and inserted into the Galaxy Note 8.
• Exactly the same results - Note 4 froze, Note 8 worked a dream.
• Had the old 64GB SanDisk Ultra MicroSD XC SD card from Galaxy Note 8.
• Formatted that and inserted it into my Note 4 - works a dream. No issues and fully loaded with music from both my library and Google Play.

Clearly there is a conflict between the Galaxy Note 4 and "some" SD cards - but while many report on issues with the 64GB (which I have no problems with) the 128GB is a disaster. Again, all are the same brand and series just different sizes.

Facebook app caused problems for me so I removed it and simply use Chrome browser to view Facebook. Much better!
