Why is my Note 5 screen not responding after extended lock?

Why is my note 5 screen not responding after extended lock?

After few hours that no one is using the phone,while the blue notification still flickering,the screen does not show anything even if i press the home or the power button .
i did soft reset and it happend again .
the device is fully charged.
what can i do ?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-23216

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

Commong problem with the S6 edge+ but was fixed with the firmware update that the Note 5 should've also received unless you bought yours from a carrier then you may have not received it yet.

It's only happened a few times to me. The screen wouldn't turn on and I had to force reboot it. I figured the last Facebook update did that, not sure how but after uninstalling its stopped doing it.

its a new device!
bought it just yesterday .
its the 64GB version .
i dont know if the problem its because of some applications or the device is just not ok.
what's your suggestion ?

should i uninstall facebook ? and then what ? just wait until facebook will release an update ?

my android version its 5.1.1

i just moved from apple to samsung so i dont really know the basics.
is this the latest version ?
it might be a damaged device problem ?

I have Facebook and I do not have this issue. If it were me, I would return the phone and get a new one. This is a new phone. If you still have the issue then you need to look at apps.

I uninstalled the last update and it worked fine after that.
