Why is my phone shutting off in the middle of the night?

HELP! Anyone, please

My Alcatel One Touch 960c decided to shut itself off in the middle of the night (i had a full battery) I had to take the battery out then put it back in to get it to turn on, now it's saying that the SD card isn't present but it is mounted so what do I do ?

I would pull the battery again for a few minutes. While it is out, pull out the SD card. Put the battery back in the device, reboot the phone. Let it go for a few minutes then put the SD card back in. See if that helps.
