Why is my phone waking up on its own?

My Samsung Galaxy s6 is waking up and going to sleep on its own. It's been happening for quite some time now. Ive factory reset my phone along with multiple other hopeful solutions before hand that failed. Is they're any other option or solution to fix this?

When you say waking up, you mean the screen is turning on? Then going to sleep the screen is going back off?

sort of, the screen will light up like there's a notification, but when the screen goes off it will stay off for just a second and then light back up constantly. It's been doing it for a while, off and on, but now it's all day every day. It drains my battery so quickly.

do you have a screen protector or case?

I do. But it does it without the case as well. I don't have a screen protector

it is probably an app you have disabled notifications for. check your app manager and uninstall anything you don't need or something you have recently installed

I factory reset my phone. It's still doing it.

then it must be a hardware problem
