Why is my power button wigging out?

[AC Question]

I just recently bought a Nexus 4 and purchased a phone plan through NextPlus GO. It all seemed pretty great but after I make a call it's really hard to try and hang up and then once I finally get it hung up the screen is powered off and I can't get it to come back on, just in short bursts but not long enough to unlock it.
Any suggestions? I can't just restart my phone all the time.
