Why is my S6 keep opening Gear VR setup?

[AC Question]

My S6 for unknown reasons just opens up the Gear VR setup for no reason. I tried to disable the Gear setup wizard and other stuff but it doesn't work at all. Other than that, my phone also keeps popping up with a window that asks me to download a power sharing app and if I press ok, it prompts me to the Galaxy store. I don't know what's going on at all. Can anyone please help me?

I would try to do a factory data reset

Sounds like adware. I would try uninsyalling any recently installed programs.

I'm having this problem also and did a factory reset. Had no luck. When I took the phone to my Sprint store, the phone was actually replaced free of charge due to genuine software and hardware glitches.

Just pointing out that it's not an adware issue. I would take your phone to your carrier.
