Why is my Samsung Note 8 keep disconnecting once it's connected to Home WiFi?

When I connected my Note 8 to my home wifi, I got the Security and Privacy popup to inform that I connected to Wifi Network "Prescott" with the following 3 options.

Checkbox: Remember My Choice
Button: Yes, disconnect
Button: No, remain connected

I checked the checkbox and by mistake I pressed Yes button instead of No button.

When I tried to connect to my home wifi again, it is connecting first and immediately getting disconnected because of the choice I chose earlier. I couldn't clear this. Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Note: When I connected my wife's cell phone to home wifi, I didn't make the same mistake, so her phone always connects. I have Verizon FIOS.

I think the easiest option is to go-to wifi networks, long press on your home WiFi network name, then click forgot network. Then reconnect and enter your password.

I had the same problem with my Note 8. It was only my home WiFi. I did alllll the things and could never get it to stay connected. Best of luck!

Hi macallik, Thanks for the reply. I did what you told many times, didn't help. In fact, I changed my wifi name too, not resolved. I can connect to my neighbor's wifi (of course with his permission), the connection stays. Once I switched to my home wifi, it connects first and disconnects the next second.

May be factory reset helps? But I don't want to do that since I have already configured my office emails, etc.

I found the fix myself. In Security & Policy, Goto WiFi Networks, then Blocked Networks, Saw my Home Wifi is listed there. I selected it and removed it. My Note 8 is connected with my home Wifi and stay connected.

Thanks.
