why is my screen black ?

A couple months ago i dropped my Samsung Galaxy S4 , when i picked it up i saw that my screen was black but i still saw my LED light flashing (i had a message) , i took out the battery , waited 5 minutes and turned it back on.. my screen was completely black ? now what should i do ?
