Random screen dimming

Ok, thanks for sharing that. I think that may only kick in if the screen brightness is set to 100% (which I never do -- mine is usually around 80% at the most, which is probably why I've never seen it happen). The OP mentioned originally that their brightness is set to 85%, so I think their issue was fundamentally different from what you're describing (and is also why my suggestion seems to have worked for them).

Ya I can't stand my devices if they are not on 100% brightness and battery.

Understood. I believe it's there to prevent screen damage, though, since 100% brightness for extended periods can increase the risk of burn-in.
