why is my tablet unable to dowload whatsapp photos

My vodacom smart tab 3g is unable to download whatsapp photos that are being received and sent and also cannot open other people's profile photos and cannot open facebook account it says"check date and time settings". I would like to know where there problem might be

Welcome to Android Central! Are your date and time correct? Go to Settings>Date & Time, and see if there's an Automatic option. If not, make sure the date and time are manually set correctly.
