Touch screen unresponsive for a few seconds on unlocking

Hello everyone i am using Samsung duos grand i9082 with jellybean 4.2.2 . I have a problem.
in settings as per online tutorials there is no touch calibration function in the settings.
I want to calibrate my touch screen because when i press power key to unlock my phone, the touch do not respond for 5 seconds or more then it goes smooth after unlocking.
Is it a problem of touch calibration or something else ?
Please help.

Re: Touch screen unresponsive for a few seconds on unlocking

Welcome to Android Central! Touch caibration settings are pretty uncommon with Android devices, so I'm not sure if your device has them.

It's possible an app you installed is contributing to this. Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. The steps for the S4 should work for your phone: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11724

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
