Why is phone Auto downloading of all apps ever downloaded after froyo update

After updating to the stock froyo, (also have now flashed to the debloated froyo release).... the phone automatically starts downloading every app i have every downloaded from the market place. Has anyone else seen this? Kind of a pain, There are apps I no longer use or had uninstalled that it is retrieving. right now there are 56 downloads!!!!!
any feedback from others???

Yes this is an annoying feature of froyo. Go menu-settings-privacy and uncheck automatic restore

what shark said... BUT.... make sure you SKIP the Google setup first... then after dioasbling it, go back in to set-up wizard
