Why is the alarm on my ZTE Z5 snoozing itself after one second?

Any phantom touches occurring? Is there a screen protector or case on?

No protector or case, no touches. I have deleted and reset several times with no change. It does have the charger cord attached(?)

OK, just n case someone else has this problem, the issue was the power cord. I had another cord that fit, so I was using it. When I tried the one that came with the phone, everything worked great.

Thanks for the update! That's odd -- I wonder how the USB cable could have been affecting the alarm?

I tried to upload to my computer yesterday and wasn't able, so I wondered if that was the problem. I'd never heard of it effecting alarm, but who knows, right!

Ok, it worked for 3 days, now it's doing the same thing, with the original cord. I'm downloading another alarm clock. Crazy crazy!!

Do you get other phantom touches when the phone is plugged in and charging? E.g, if the keyboard is open, do you ever have issues with false keypresses?

No other problems.
