Why is the HTC M9 taking 9hrs to charge,even with QuickCharger2.0?

I got an HTC M9 about a month ago,and it seemed to charging quick enough till last week,and now when I put it on charge,it says on the homescreen "9 hrs untill full",even with the quick charger. I did not play any games,switched on power saver,switched off WiFi,still the same problem. Could this have anything to do with the update a few days ago? Please help!!
