Why is there a dark spot in my photos taken on the Honor 7x?

Every picture I take has a noticeable dark spot on the left side. It's small, but very noticeable. It's not a shadow or smudge on the lens. I have noticed that covering the secondary lens does not affect the spot so I have to assume there is something like a tiny spec of dust inside my camera lens. This issue has only been a problem for a few weeks now and I received the device in late December 2017 (about 3 months ago).

Presumably there is a speck of dust in there.
