Android Central Question

When under a black uv light, there is a green outline of a rectangle showing on my moto g play 2021 phone screen? What is causing this?

I believe it is there with phone off or on. Room had a black light in it and the green rectangle appeared on black screen, about 1/2" from the edge of phone all the way around. Was not on someone else's phone they had out. Another site I came across mentioned this happening and someone suggested that it was the optical glue used on the inside of screen, but don't know if that would be a possibility.

That sounds plausible. In any case, it's almost certainly an artifact of how the phone was constructed. Since you presumably never actively use the phone under a black light, it shouldn't affect the phone's integrity or performance.
