Why is this called Verizon Galaxy Nexus?

I didn't see anything about Verizon last night, why are we "officially" branding this "Verizon Galaxy Nexus". Honestly, that seems to jump the gun a little. I know most rumors point to a Verizon exclusive, but they are just rumors. Were else does this website brand a network with a phone. I have to say I'm a little bothered by this and think Verizon should be removed from the title, or open a separate forum for each possible carrier. Maybe I'm wrong, in that case someone place provide me with a time to skip to in last night's pretension that shows this to be the "Verizon Galaxy Nexus".

Because this is the forum for Verizon's version. The GSM Forum has not been created yet

Thank you. Why isn't this listed under the Verizon section then?

That's not how the forums are arranged now. It used to be by carrier. Now, it's by manufacturer, then phone, and then carrier for the sub-forums. Right now, the only Nexus forum is the Verizon Nexus forum.

Is it not going to get confusing though, shouldn't the Verizon Galaxy Nexus forum be a sub forum of the Galaxy Nexus forum for discussion of things that specifically effect it (like 4G). As far as I am aware Verizon has not actually confirmed themselves that they will be carrying it (yes I know it's in the video) whereas several vendors have confirmed they will carry the HSPA version.
