Why isn't my Moto G touch screen responding?

my moto G touch screen is not responding

The screen is not frozen or cracked. it was not dropped recently.its fully charged. the screen still rotates, but will not open the phone nor will it shut down. what do i do?

Use USB OTG cable with your USB Mouse (buy these, if you do not have)
