Why my phone changed its display from grid view pages to grid view list suddenly?

I didn't changed any setting & I the next thing i know, my Moto g 3rd gen is showing my downloaded apps & other icons in a grid view list instead how it usually shows in multiple pages. Now I don't know how to return it to previous view. Please help.

Hi.. I'm using Moto G2 and from today evening the menu option changed from grid view to list view.. As you said there is no option to revert back to grid view.. I too checked in some other forum and no solution yet.. Anyone facing this issue?

I just checked and its because of the recent Google update.. I hope they provide an option to change the grid and list view..

As Antony1405 said those changes in the app drawer came with the most recent version for the Google app. There's no setting to change it back to grid view, and I think the "uninstall updates" option is not longer available. You can always use a custom launcher to set it differently.
