Why my screen won't go to black after I'm not looking at it

For some now my s5 won't automatically after I'm not looking at it what's up with that

First, make sure you have an appropriate timeout set in Settings, Display.

Welcome to Android Central! Also, are you sure Smart Stay is turned on? If it's turned on, make sure nothing is blocking the front-facing camera.
