Why the Spec Bump Rumor's May Be True

6.5" gn? did you mean 4.65"?

i think the gn is fine camera for taking outside picture in a bright and sunny day. heck a lot of sub par phone camera can take decent pix under those circumstances. i believe it's durig darker conditions where the gn suffers. then again i could be wrong, someone please correct me if i am. from what i had read, the 4.04 update suppose to fix some of the camera issues, not sure if that's true or not. I sure hope it is since i am probably going to get a GN first, and maybe moving to the new evo later.
lol, where did that 4 go. Guess I had tab size on my mind...

Low light pics are not as good as well lit ones. They have a little more noise then I would like.

yeah, the nexus will be perfect if it has the evo lte screen, processor, and camera. haha.

Both screens are probably top 3 on the market. Either is a fine choice. I saw that the big difference on the HTC was the Brightness. To be honest.. I never have my device that bright. No need for killing my battery in a couple of hours. :p

Plus for the me the TI OMAP is a fine chip, but yet so is the Snap S4. Camera differences are too minimal for me. Not to mention I have a DC for my picture needs. All I need my phone for is quick snaps.

i thought most sites think the one x screen is better, not just in brightness. and the camera is pretty important for me because i hate to carry multiple devices. i don't have a dc, so my phone is my only camera.

i do hope that the rumor spec bump is true. clock speed at 1.5ghz and maybe comes w/ 4.04 updates already since it supposedly fixed some of the camera issues.

They have.. It was pretty 50/50 I thought. Everybody had preference on the screen. I think both are rock solid displays. I'm not sure what the PPI is on the One X, but I know the higher PPI on the GNEX is very important to me. At least in terms of the sharpness of the display. Like I said with Brightness at least for me it's a non-factor. The GNEX is bright enough. At least for me it is.

I would say if you put pictures side by side, you won't see much of a difference between the two. Biggest thing is size of the picture and how big it can be blown up obviously. With the Megapixels being different between the devices. My GNEX takes amazing pictures, so that's another non-issue for me.

Unfortunately this video from Sprint themselves on their Youtube confirms the specs are the same as the Verizon version.

I am on VZ and have the GN. I recently switched from Sprint and had the E4GT, EVO 3D and EVO 4G. This is my first Nexus device and I must say even though some of the newer phones might have some better specs, there is something to be told about a pure Android experience with ICS. I do not know if I would have felt this way with GB or their prior OS's but ICS does not need any help.

My next phone will probably need to be another Nexus device because I think I am now spoiled to the pure Google experience. Why ruin a great thing. Oh, and running the GN in tablet mode is something that just cannot be beat!

As for the camera, I can probably convince you the pictures below were taken with the E4GT, an iPhone 4s, or even the EVO LTE. But guess what, it is pictures taken with the GN! How much better can you really want...

And here is a picture of the GN running in tablet mode. Much better use of the beautiful 4.65" 720p screen.

How do we configure tablet mode? Something I have not heard about.
