Why won't apps install properly on my Huawei?

I've been trying to transfer my apps from my LG K10 and the apps get stuck on 'download pending'. I've tried restarting multiple times.

Welcome to Android Central! When you say "transfer my apps," you just mean that you're installing the apps from the Play Store, correct? Which Huawei phone do you have? Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Try going to Settings>Apps, select Google Play Store, tap Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager -- you probably have to tap Menu>Show System to see it. Now try again.

Hey, I'm logged into Google now. I have a Huawei Mate 20 Lite. I did some digging and found out I was stuck in guest mode. How can I disable it?

Context being that the person who set up the phone prior to my use didn't know how to fix it. I have tried factory resets, but the menu is always saying 'Software not downloaded properly.'

Go to Settings. Type guest into the search box at the top. It should bring you to a page that will let you set normal mode.

Yes, I've seen the article prior when doing some research. There is no guest option in settings or in my notification bar. Once again I am using a Huawei Mate 20 Lite.

Swipe down the notification panel twice. Do you see a user profile avatar in the upper right or left corner? If so, what happens if you tap it?
