Facebook Messenger wont connect on my Samsung Galaxy S3

Facebook Messenger wont connect to the wifi even though my phone is completely connected to the wifi. Other applications that uses internet connection works completely fine. I've tried turning it on and off, power cycle, re-installing, clear data clear cache but everything just wont work. You're help guys will be so much appreciated thanks a lot.
