Why won't my email update on my note 8?

[Android Central Question]

Just got the note 8 however before I upgraded I had just started having the same issue on more 4. Gmail syncs fine. It's the two other email apps that I use yahoo and blue mail. Neither of them will sync without manually refreshing. I have the in-app settings set correctly. I have the data settings set to allow them to run in the background. It seems that everything is set correctly. Is this a problem with the latest Android update?

Welcome to Android Central. I have the same problem with Yahoo and Outlook on my S8+. I believe Yahoo won't auto sync unless you pay for their pro version, have no idea on blue mail, but it may be similar.
