why wont my Imac recognize my Note 4

I have the note 5 and an imac and i get absolutely no response. I had no problem transfering files with my samsung galaxy 4 with the sd card but now everything is on the cloud now and I cant transfer any of my files, photos or music. I'm so frustrated! Tried like 6 different apps and even talked to samsung and nothing has worked. I want my old phone back.

I have been through Mac and Samsung support. Trying to explain to Samsung that WiFi and Bluetooth are standards, not operating systems is like talking to a wall. They want me to use Smart Switch which did not work. AFT did not work. I was able to download its predecessor KEIS, and now I can transfer files. What a pain. This is why they have standards, why can't Samsung work within them. The iMac under bluetooth states itthe phone is not running the required services which is Bu&*$%it.

If Smart Switch or AFT is not working for you, download KEIS while it i still available, and is still free..
