Why wont my phone let me move downloaded photos to SD card?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime and I've been trying to move photos in my downloads folder to my SD card so they don't take too much phone space, but everytime I try to it stops automatically and says "failed to move." I DO have enough space on my SD card for the photos. Are some of my photos corrupted? And if so, how do I fix it to where I can put them on my SD card?

Is there any chance that the SD card is full?

didnt mean to send quite yet but if you had just moved some other media it might not have updated to show that it's full
