Why won't my phone stay connected to WiFi?

Hi everyone!

A couple weeks ago I bought a new Galaxy A32 5G. I really like it, but it has one particularly strange issue. When I'm connected to my home WiFi, it will disconnect every 30 seconds or so and then reconnect itself within a matter of seconds. It works fine when it is connected, but this is pretty pesky if I'm trying to download or stream anything because it keeps pausing. The weirdest part is that this does not happen with any of my other devices, nor does my A32 do this with any other network. I've tried all the standard stuff, like restarting it, resetting my network settings, and restarting the WiFi. It's not a huge deal, but I would like to fix it if possible.

Thanks so much for your time!

Welcome.

If you are within reasonable distance of your router or wifi extender when this happens, and the same thing happens when using other wifi networks, and there are no updates pending, there may be a phone hardware fault.

Are you using 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz? Have you tried using the other and see if it's any better?

Have you tried changing the channel on your router?

Our router has 5G and 2G options, both of them have the problem. I could try changing the channel, but would that solve it if only one device is doing this?

How did you restart your wi-fi? Did you actually reboot the router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds and then plugging back in?
