Wi-Fi and Data

Running android 7, and I'll often find my phone connecting to Verizon 4G-LTE along with my Wi-Fi network after being connected for a while. Any know as to why?

Do you have Smart network switch or download booster enabled?

Neither are enabled

It sometimes uses it for location purposes.
