Wi-Fi control

So, how do I have my phone only use a particular Wi-Fi access point that requires a password when i tell it to? That is, if I use an access point, each time I'm near my phone automatically uses it, which is fine most of the time, but not always. There is one in particular I only want to use when i manually tell it to.

Turn the WiFi off when you don't need it then. Just pull down the notification bar and toggle it off. Turn it on only when you want it.

If your fine with manually telling the phone when to use that access point why can't you manually tell the phone not to use WI FI when your near it, no ones suggesting turning off WI FI completely.

There are several wifi control apps in the store, you might start looking at them for help. I've tried a couple in the past with mixed results.

because i'd rather use a different one in that area.
