according to this article the htc thunderbolt is vulnerable.

but the article says "Thunderbolt 4G - Version FRG83D"

this version is only affected? is this the model #?

Don't know what "Thunderbolt 4G - Version FRG83D" is. I think it's supposed to be Froyo, the OS the phone was originally released with. Android Central has an article on this here.

I'm guessing the Thunderbolt got the patch in one of the last few updates. For me though, it would've never been an issue as I NEVER use Wi-Fi on my phone (it's always turned off). Especially no need for it after LTE went live back in Oct. The coverage is excellent where I live and it blows my home DSL service out of the water!

Looks like its been fixed with gingerbread.
