Wi-fi turns itself on

I just got this phone and it seems to like to turn wi-fi on, even when I have the setting off. I don't know if i've just missed a setting, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Simple enough, Settings > More Settings > Mobile Network > Sprint Connections Optimizer - Uncheck the box.
