Android Central Question

I did a factory restore on my tablet. After downloading time/date widget, it would open to customize it BUT it would not show date and time on desktop. Same with calendar widget which used to show list of upcoming events for the month. Neither will work like used to before restore?
I've deleted the widget from original download to SD card and re-downloaded to internal, I've cleared the cache, and I've cleaned the launcher. ALL to no avail! I've repeatedly shut down tablet and reopened to see if any of my actions worked?! All to no avail.

Ok, so this is a 3rd party widget you downloaded, and not one that came preinstalled on the phone, right? There are probably dozens of apps in the Play Store called "Digital Clock" -- can you post a link of the exact one you're trying to use?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maize.digitalClock looks like the Digital Clock widget. I can't seem to find a calendar widget put out by Maize - they don't even list one themselves.
@Looks Professional, Google used to warn us about trying to run widgets from the SD card - they just won't. For some reason, I haven't seen those warnings since Gingerbread - Version 2.3 - but they still apply, widgets won't run from the SD card. Uninstall the widgets completely, restart the phone, then install them normally - don't try to move them to the SD card. Doing that will stop them from working. (You won't find links in the Play app, but you will if you go to the Google Play Store with a web browser - it's in the browser's address bar.)
