Wife drove off with Note 7 sitting on trunk - caseology saved it

About 30 minutes after my wife left with the kids to the grocery store I got a text from her mom..."someone found her phone, they are dropping it off".

Turns out she put it on the trunk of her car then left...so the phone fell off somewhere between 0 and 55 mph and some jogger found it. Luckily it was still unlocked (somehow?) and they dialed "mom" from the dialer.

The caseology case got a little beat up, looks like it landed on the back initially and slid a while, but the phone is in perfect shape. Wish I knew who found it since they just put it in our mailbox. Saved me a $150 deductible by not stealing it off the road!

If I got divorced I would only be able to buy half as many phones....

very nice to see there are honest people in this world of ours. So many stories of how things are lost and compromised. Good karma to that person !

Thanks, nice to know this case did a very good gob.

I have the same case in black. It's not bulky, feels good and is very protective. All very positive attributes of a case.
