WiFi drops every 15-30 minutes (Samsung Exhibit 4G)

I've looked for a solution and have yet to find one, but this problem has been going on since I've owned the phone (5 months). I've tried switching the WiFi Channel from 6 to 1, 1 being the best option, and no difference. I've tried calling my ISP, but they said it's the phone, and not them. I'm at a loss here honestly because it's become frustrating. My cousin is enlisted in the US Army, and the only way I can talk to him is through Skype, but when the WiFi drops I lose connection with him, although I can just call him back, it's just inconvenient. I really appreciate ANY suggestions or solutions given!

Also, the WiFi sleep mode is turned off, so that's not the problem.
