internet may not be available have getting this message all of sudden

I noticed mine always has issues after being connected for a while. I have to turn off then back on

This is also after setting a static ip. Nothing has resolved it yet. This is across many different networks and router brands

Hm that's weird. I can't think of what would cause that. I've been on wifi all weekend before without a hiccup.

Oh and phone is fully up to date and cache wiped. Still has same issue. Seems like it does it more in my ubiquity stuff more than others. Odd....

we get that you check for updates, but the question is still, what firmware version are you on?

Also, if you have a Best Buy in your area, take it there to the Samsung Experience shop inside. They can try to fix it there.

Re: wifi issues please help

Mine does the same thing. I'm going to have to upgrade to a larger data plan because the phone can't stay connected to WIFI. I have the same problem with BT in my car. It's pathetic on such an expensive flagship phone.

What can/will the BB Samsung experience people do to fix it?

Thanks for the link to the sammy thread.

Where do you find the firmware info? I checked in settings and didn't find it.

That's good, but which firmware version do you currently have?

I see. So it's AQEF, which is the latest (released this month). It's disappointing to hear that this still hasn't been fixed.

On AQEF, I've had some WiFi disconnections, but they've been too infrequent to know if my phone is at fault or not.

Mine only does it when I'm home, I have crap satellite internet but it doesn't do it anywhere else. Also doesn't connect automatically all the time home either. None of my other phones on my account do this just my s8+

I've been blaming it on my older home Apple Airport router, but am starting to think/figure out that its more likely the phone as it also does the same thing with the wifi connection at the hospital where I work. It's going to cost me a larger data plan because I can't get reliable wifi.

My wife, on an iPhone, complained about losing connection with our home router, I saw it once today with my Note3.
