Minus the known problem with DQA stopping repeatedly at random times, has anyone else encountered issues with WiFi stability problems? My S8+ keeps showing the WiFi and disconnected then reconnected notification every 10-15 minutes. Never had an issue on this router with my S7e.

Try going into your WiFi advanced settings & making sure Smart Switch is turned off.

Not saying this will solve the OP's problem, but it's one of the first things I always check to make sure is disabled. There is nothing smart at all about Smart Switch, or whatever it's called on other platforms.

Yeah, that is one of the many settings that get turned off when I am setting up the phone. So that cannot be the problem. I am starting to think that it might be the GHz of the router that is causing issues. I am not getting the issue on the work wifi network, but could be missing the notifications since I am not constantly on it at work.

Having the same problem on my T-Mobile S8. Sucks when I'm trying to use sonos - every few songs I have to wait for it to reconnect to WiFi.

Same problem here in germany... myself and other ones

I contacted samsung 2 times and they gave only simple suggestions such as reseting the phone... nothing worked. They told me i could send the phone to mantainence but i don't wanna be without my phone for 2-3 weeks, so i hope it's a problem that will be corrected with a software update.

I'm with T-Mobile, but I am still experiencing major Wi-Fi issues.

What is happening for me, is that, I connect to any network. Then 10 seconds later the network completely disconnects. Then approximately 10-20 seconds later it reconnects again. It keeps doing it over and over and over, non stop, in a cycle. So I completely disconnected from my Wi-Fi, and I'm using my 4G LTE full time for now(until we get a fix for the Wi-Fi). I started noticing this on my home network, but then as I go to other Wi-Fi networks, the same issue occurs. I tried it on my home private network(where I first noticed this), my work private network, the mall public Wi-Fi, and two of my friends houses private network. But the same exact problem still arises.

I'm already on my third device, because the first device had some bugs including the Wi-FI issue. I was told by my carriers customer care to do a buyer remorse exchange, at the direct carrier store where I purchased the device. So I did that on the same day the phone was released. Then unfortunately, the next day, my dog cracked the screen, and even broke the front camera. My dog even broke an OtterBox Defender case, and completely ripped off the side bumpers of the case. So I had to do an insurance claim. So I'm on my third device, and all three devices that I've had. Have had the Wi-Fi issue.

I even did a factory reset to the third device(the one I have now), because of the Wi-Fi issue, and a home button vibration issue. Where the vibration would not stop, even in standby mode. It was also causing the Android OS settings to even be disabled, by not let me go into the OS serttings. From the Android OS taskbar menu button, or the button for the OS settings in the app drawer. The factory reset did fix the vibration issue, but it didn't fix the Wi-Fi issue at all.

I also contacted Samsung, and they're not helping me at all(including managers). Samsung is not even giving me any answer, if this is a known problem or not. Not a yes, no, maybe, I don't know, possibly. Every time I call, they always try to make me send it in so they can investigate the situation, and keep the phone for God knows how long(sarcastically speaking). Or they try to sell me something instead.

Verizon Galaxy S8 w/an Orbi (Netgear) RBR50 router & satellite. Wi-Fi intermittent. Connect working well then shows connected but no internet. Then shows connected (no internet) symbol. Cycling Wi-Fi on phone fixes short term. Smart switch turned off. Rebooted everything in order. Forgot network on phone & rebooted. No help. Wahhhh
