wifi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

[Android Central Question]

My phone keeps disconnecting reconnecting to the wifi on its own. I've tried everything except for a factory reset which is my last hope. My router is 10ft away and in the same room as me so I don't think its the connection reaching the phone. I've tried resetting my network settings. I've tried to turn off wifi scanning and everything in my connection settings. I've tried deleting all the apps. Can someone help so I dont have to reset my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Does this only happen on your home wi-fi network, or on any wi-fi network? Have you already tried rebooting your router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds? I have the S20 Ultra. And I've tried unplugging my router for 30 seconds. It only happens on my home connection, yes. I've tried literally everything. I can't find most of the setting I see in other posts and videos online.

Is your router set up to use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, or is it using 802.11ac? If it's using 2.4 GHz, try changing the wi-fi channel in the router settings.

Under your network name it shows 2.4 or 5?

I've tried safe mode and it still does the same thing. It has be something with my phone. My ps4 and Xbox don't disconnect and reconnect like this. Its just my phone

Try to forget your home wifi on the phone and then enter it back

I've tried that as well. I check my router settings and both the 2.4 and 5 are running but it says "802.11 a/n/ac" Mixed under the 5 and "802.11 g/n Mixed" under the 2.4

Yeah but its connecting to one or the other not both

Can you try changing the router to be 802.11n only, and see if the problem persists?

try changing channels in the router settings also what router do you have?
