WiFi keeps turning itself on

I'm on manually updated Jelly Bean and when im at work I turn my WiFi off to preserve battery. I have been noticing that it will randomly turn itself back on.

Any ideas as to why?

I ha e gone into settings and disabled everything I can think of.

Yep, that's a setting on the Sprint version that's on by default...

Did you by chance make sure that Sprint Connections Optimizer was disabled?
