Wifi only Xoom at Costco.com

I went to the costco website and saw this, if you look at the picture it does not have the ''Verizon Wireless '' branding on the top right of the Xoom.

It says it will have flash 10 and no mention of the sd card slot. Has motorola said how the wifi version would get software updates. Im wondering if they will even bother updating a device thats not on a network???

Yes - the wifi version will get updates. The 3G version gets updates when connected to wifi-only.

I already bought (and will be keeping) the 3G Xoom, but I'm curious where you can buy the 4G version for only $650 with no contract. I'm definitely lost on the last part about the $20 bit...

I would get mine at costco too, free case, cheaper, money back gaurntee, I don't mind waiting. But I think ill wait for all the honeycomb tabs to come out this spring, then pick the best.

3 g is the same as 4 g - just with 4 g not yet installed. Verizon charges a $20 activation fee - or atleast they did when I bought my 3 g from Costco. I'm returning mine and getting the wifi only unit - probably get stuck for another $ 20 fee, but small price to pay to save $200 plus the difference in tax.

Anyone know if the unit will be available in the stores at the same time or is it online only to start?
