WiFi poor signal and slow

[AC Question]

Hi all,

I have an new s7 and also have fiber optic as my home broadband. When I content to the wifi the signal is around 20-40% and down to 2mps on the S7, however using a different device contacted to the same router in the same room it's showing 90% and the speed is around 30+meg.
As I moved away from the router the phone reverts back to 4g. It seems to me the phone itself has a issue not my home Internet.
Anyone eles have this issue??

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried rebooting the router by unplugging its power, waiting 10 seconds, then plugging it back in? Also, see this guide: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html

Is your Bluetooth turned on & NOT connected to another device? There are many threads on here about the S7 having little to no Wi-Fi speeds when Bluetooth is turned on but not connected to another device.
