wifi tab takes too long to load book.

I purchased my wifi galaxy tab about 2 weeks ago and am using mainly for an e reader when I first started using it the book would open to my current page in a matter of a couple of seconds. It has been taking longer and longer. Now it takes roughly 15 seconds to open to my current page. I've rebooted and that doesn't help. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this. Thanks.

I am using the nook application on this and other books. I also downloaded the Borders ap as well but haven't used it yet.

I have only used the kindle app and mine works great.

I guess it had to do with one of the books I was reading at the end I noticed there was a video and maybe it was slowing it down once I deleted the book my new book runs much faster. Thanks for your response.
